Mine is slightly older: a Gateway P 7805u FX gaming laptop. 2.26MHz--Intel Core2 Duo P8400; 4GB RAM (though I hear it's upgradeable to 8Gigs, two bays for hardrives, which at this point means I can have up to 1.5TBs of storage (I'm carrying just under a Gig total right now); 17" screen which I upgraded from 1400x900 to 1920x1200. At the moment, I'm carrying Windows 7, both 32 and 64-bit. I'm thinking about upgrading both the ram and the hardrives, so I can dual-boot Win7 x64 and some form of Linux on one and have space for Win7 x32 and a really big virtual drive on the other (my "virus drive"), if you will. I'll probably be in the market for another computer in the next six months to a year, one that will let me easily carry dual screens, since I'm doing more an more internet work and sometimes need more than one at a time, of late.

I have to admit, I love my Gateways; they're the only brand I've owned, new or used, and they've always done well by me. That said, what I've seen of them of late may make me change to a different brand next time around: they've gotten kind of cheap with their specs, at least in the laptop arena. We shall see what we shall see...

Wow, you got amazing specs guys....thank you for sharing,...mine i just upgraded my system with a P8P67 pro, 2600K @4.7ghz, 4gb Vengeance, 2gb 6950 modded...still tweaking finding the sweet spot but so far its running at all max settings that im playing except only ARMA 2 i think you need 20ghz for that game to be able to run it as smooth as silk and a 10gb of graphics card(exhagerated).....Flight sim well im flying FS2004 anyway so no problem even with my previous setup because the sceneries that were made for my home country are only for FS9 nobody has ever made for FSX yet..

I have a Toshiba C655D-S5084, AMD Athlon X2 P340 2.2Ghz, 8GB DDR3-10600, 250GB HDD, ATi Radeon HD 4200. It works great for most things, though 3D rendering and gaming aren't the best due to the integrated graphics card.
